Created and promoted community group to attract local entrepreneurs
Structured monthly meetings around business development topics: branding, social media, customer targeting, pricing strategies, and event prep
Developed a shared resources such as vendor checklists, marketing templates, and local event calendars
Fostered peer accountability through collaborative goal-setting and shared milestones
Encouraged social promotion and cross-marketing between members to increase reach
Results
The group grew to 60 members in the first 3 months, becoming a trusted hub for business support
Helped multiple members successfully register their businesses and prepare for their first vendor markets
Members reported improved confidence in their marketing strategy and event readiness
Strengthened the local small business ecosystem by facilitating referrals and partnerships
Recognizing a need for connection and support among small business owners in my local community, I founded and peer-driven business support group. This initiative brought together entrepreneurs to collaborate, learn, and grow their businesses through shared resources, strategic planning, and local event preparation.
